My two cents worth of stories.

once upon a time,
there lived a king and queen in the city of arshvallen.
the royal family lived a very happy life,
and since they are newly-weds, they still have got lots to learn.
the king was busy learning how to manage his own country,
while the queen was away enjoying her life.
one night, the king finally had time to settle down for some rest,
he laid on his bed and thought,
"i've been so busy these few days, and i haven't been spending much time with my wife, but hey, i need to perform my duty as a king as well ain't i?"
then time after time, wild thoughts started to rampage into his mind.
"oh no, since i'll be spending most of my time as the new king managing my country, what is going to happen to my wife? surely she wont cheat on me in the future will she? this cannot happen!"

and so the very next day, the king tied the queen onto her throne and demanded her to be faithful and loyal to him. the queen was shocked by the sudden change of attitude of the king and was unable to reply him.
and because of the queen's inability to vow to the king, the king flared up and left the queen tied up onto the throne, at the same time, demanding that should anyone go near the queen, he/she will be perished regardless of who they are.

days passed and the queen was still tied up on the throne, stranded without food nor water. she began to grow weak, while the king continued on his work, being oblivious to what is happening. on that very day, the queen died from hunger. the king realised what happened and came to his senses but it was already too late.

using torturous ways to demand loyalty and faith, even as a friend, is despicable, like what the king did.
yes, we might do reckless stuff in the midst of the confusion without realising the damage you are inflicting to others, but what if we can view the situation in another perspective at that point of time as well?
by looking at different perspective in a certain situation, there will never be only ONE answer to it.
find and dig out the many answers discovered, and then from there, pick out the one that is able to satisfy both parties as much as it can.
