My two cents worth of stories.

i looked at my watch, it was only 6.50am.
i looked around in that almost deserted canteen in xinmin.
it was my first day of school.
i looked around again and saw this rather tanned guy,
you cant actually figure he was a malay until you know him but i'll go to that later on.
he had unique features on his face,
that thick hair, bushy and long mustache, thick eyebrow,
and the funny thing was, he seemed to be smiling to almost everyone he see.
we exchanged glances, and my six sense told me i was going to see more of him in the near future.
true enough, during feburary,
when we had our first cca; St John Ambulance Brigade,
i saw that familiar funny-featured-looking-guy again.
his name was ismail bin zainal.
he was the leader of the squad when we were in sec one,
leading cheers, and boosting the morale of the squad,
everything went smoothly with him.
one year passed
and he, together with kah lun, joel ,me and zenson, formed the "most forbiddable TEAM AC1".
through the progress of training i met many tough moments, and he seemed to be the only one to be able to see and feel it.
he understood what i was feeling, well, because he felt it too.
we walked the talk and talked the walk on our way home.
we talk about many many things ranging from our AC trademark game; DOTA, to personal stuffs.
even so, we managed to pull through everything together as team AC1.
time flies and before we knew it, zone comp '07 was around the corner and we only manyage to clinch a silver award.
"you guys better don't fucking come back to xinmin if you guys don't get a gold"- says CL zuli.
that significant sentence ran through both of our minds, yeah, disaappointing results, and only we out of AC cried.
school was back as usual after our zonal competition,
we felt awkward not having anymore daily trainings,
every now and then, after friday activity we would just gather the team and start doing our own footdrill, ahh....
everything was the same until last year november,
when his dad thought that xinmin secondary school isnt a safe place for his son to be in.
he had to be transferred out.
yes, another year passed and he was transferred to tampines sec be then.
ever since he left,
everything wasnt the same anymore,
we reformed to team AA, whom consisted of joel, kah lun, isaac, and me.
only managed to clinch a bronze award this time.
school wasnt any better without him,
we went our seperate ways,
ismail went to tampines,
kahlun had his own circle of friends,
joel enlarged his circle of friends,
zenson in his usual "chess club"
and me, well, i remained the same.
we dont sit in that small area outside ODAC room talking craps anymore,
and recess time isnt any better.
every now and then i would try and picture senarios of
"what if ismail were here? what would change?"
yes, he was a good friend, and he IS a good friend, thus, he WILL be a good friend.
yes, i missed ismail.
bet joel did too.
ahh..

PS: i think i'll not be updating my blog anytime soon, im just plain lazy xD
